Over the years, I’ve had many patients ask if their organs can regenerate. It is well known that the liver will regenerate, given the right conditions. But I think most of us mistakenly assume that the body cannot re-grow limbs, tissue or organs. As a Naturopath, we’ve seen cases where tissue has regenerated, bone has grown again (in osteoporosis), and arthritis has disappeared…all things that the medical community says can’t be done.
But now, some amazing medical breakthroughs are being done and Scientists are actually growing new organs. Regenerative Medicine is now moving into the forefront of medical breakthroughs. Scientists now believe that “every tissue in the body has cells that are capable of regenerating.”
I enjoyed the video because of the possibilities that it brings for the future. Many people that are on organ transplant lists might now have an option in a few years if this technology is able to move forward. Please take a few moments to watch this 8 minute video:
