Spinach-Banana Smoothie

I know, the title doesn't sound very appealing, does it? But wait! This is a fabulous-tasting smoothie - you should give it a chance.
This spinach banana smoothie is jam-packed with exceptional nutrition, which will start your day out with a bang! In addition to all the vitamins and minerals in this drink, it will also give you an added energy boost and fill you up! Sometimes, I just have this for dinner because it tastes so good!
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Yield: 1 smoothie
Ingredients:- 1 Banana
- About 1/2 Bunch of fresh spinach (with stems), washed and cleaned (enough for 2 large handfuls)
- Almond Milk (about 8-10 ounces)
- Young Living Essential Oils Pure Protein Complete (2 scoops gives you 20 grams of Whey Protein!)
- Freshly ground Golden Flax Seed, 3 TBS
Put all ingredients in your blender (you can read about Vitamix, the best natural food blender here). Put on "Variable" speed and turn the machine on. Adjust the speed up to 7 while it is blending all the food together. Then, put on "High" and run for about 10 seconds until everything is nice and smooth. Depending on your taste, you might want to add some handfuls of ice and maybe a little extra almond milk or maybe a little less; it all depends on what consistency you like. Drink, enjoy and get ready for that energy boost!
